The one thing that it feels like there's never enough for all of us, and for most families, is not time. By the time my husband and I finish our days at work and {hen shuffle the children with their activities and then deal with homework and dinner and preparing for the next day it seems like there isn't any time for us to pay as a family group. One afternoon that I passed my husband once I was pulling into the driveway with my oldest child, arriving home from soccer, along with my husband and eldest son were yanking out on their way to my youngest kid swimming lesson and that I realized we hadn't eaten meals together within a week. I decided that we had to get a means to start carving out a while without giving up any activities. So I started doing a little research. And that I spent in some wise technology to help us recover some family time. Here Is What I did:
I Cease Grocery Shopping
I know there are some parents that enjoy trips to market as it gives them an opportunity to get some time to themselves. But I am not one of those parents. I hate grocery shopping. And there have been times once if I hadn't had a family to feed I would have just not eaten dinner as opposed to face visiting the store after having a ten hour and dealing with the turmoil of a household day. And so that I stop. Now I utilize Instacart plus it has freed up about twelve hours a week for me. Twelve hours. That's time I can spend with my family now.
I Got A Home Dry Cleaning Machine
This isn't that stuff that throws you in the dryer that is supposed to dry clean your clothes. It's an actual dry cleaning machine just like they utilize from the Drycleaners however it's intended for home usage and will be controlled using an program. It saves us money and much more importantly it saves us time. No more rushing to get to the dry cleaner before they close at 5 PM.
I Bought Smart Appliances
I will acknowledge that the intelligent appliances were costly and probably are not at the funding for all families. But, for people, it was totally worth it. I can pre heat the oven while I am driving home from the workplace and that I will start cooking dinner while I'm picking my daughter in my child at soccer. By the time we get home dinner is ready and we can sit down as a family group.
I Received An Amazon Echo
Even the Amazon Echo is something we use so often times per day that I don't know how we ever got by without it. However, it provides us a while because we can all hang out in the living room listening to podcasts while I work and also the kids do their assignments and their daddy tinkers with models or puzzles.
